Are you someone who has set some great new goals for yourself but have already broken most of them?
Feeling deflated, giving yourself a hard time and are wondering why you can’t create the change you want?
If you are one of these people and are feeling somewhat deflated already, please don’t give yourself a hard time.

It’s a known fact that the majority of New Year Resolutions are already broken by about the second day of the New Year!
You don’t have to throw the towel in and revert back to the very old habit, conversations, limiting behaviors that you were planning to change.
I want you to be gentle with yourself and not give yourself a hard time.
Be Gentle With Yourself
Here’s the thing – when making resolutions or creating new goals, at the end of New Year we place ourselves under enormous pressure.
We do it because our external world is telling us to!
It’s the done thing, it’s what every newspaper, every blog post, every media outlet is pushing – out with the old and in with the new.
But it is also at a time of year when we are at our busiest finishing off for the year and getting ready for the festive season and celebrations.
Or consider this.
When we are winding back up into our New Year, cranking up the energy to focus on work and getting back into our daily routines.
I for one am feeling out of my usual routine, I’m navigating the school holidays; everything is out of kilter my eating habits, my sleeping, daily routines.
So let’s be realistic here, is now the best time to start initiating change in your life? For some perhaps it is, but for the majority of us it’s 100% totally not the right time.
So give yourself permission to press the PAUSE button and know that you can give yourself permission to set goals and create change anytime you want.
That you are enough as you are and that you have the will power, the resolution, the focus to make change when and if you are ready.
This is not about making excuses and not holding yourself accountable.
This is not about reverting back to habits and behaviors that you want to change.
It’s all about making sure that you are creating the right conditions to create the change you want and that you don’t have to drive yourself with external pressure, to be better, to do greater things, to create change unless you are ready.
Because let’s face it you are in the driving seat of your life and you can create the conditions from which you can grow, develop as and when you are ready.
Priming For Success
It’s all about creating the right conditions within yourself and within your environment so you can achieve the success YOU are wanting.
Rather than be driven by external priorities it is important to dig in deep within and create the space to examine your internal world that is when you can create real clarity about your highest priority.
Create space, to do this important work, because it literally primes you for success, saves you wasting time on goals that are not really relevant to you right now and gives you the momentum to create effortless goals.
PRESS the pause button and reflect on 5 questions:-
What do you need to feel within you to be ready to create change?
Do you have total clarity on why you want to create this change?
Is this a top priority for you at the moment and if so WHY?
What do you need in place in your environment to start working on these goals?
When would be the best time to start implementing your goals?
Goals create destinations and direction.
The growth and the expansion is in the ‘doing’ not the result, you can do this I know you can you just need to be kind to yourself and keep moving forward in the direction you want to go in.
